The Team at Talisman has been busy preparing for the upcoming winter season...

The Outside Operations Team, under the direction of Doug Thompson, has been working steadily to prepare the hill, lifts and snowmaking equipment for our upcoming season.

New trail maps and signage now indicate 15 total runs as we have reduced the cross-over and cut-through runs. Mechanical changes and maintenance on lifts including Central and South quad chairs, Beginner double, Wonder Carpet and Frontier J Bar are being attended to to ensure that we meet our December 19th opening. Improvements to our snowmaking equipment has increased its capabilities. Engineered drainage ditches and water bars have been also been created to control the run-off at the base of hill.

Dust off those skis and boards, dig out those long-john’s and get ready to hit the hill on December 19th!
