Talisman Resort Village in the quaint town of Kimberley is nestled between two ridges of the Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and known as Beaver Valley. Just under two hours from Toronto, and twenty-five minutes to Georgian Bay. There is little doubt that the Beaver Valley is the jewel of Grey County and home to kilometers of hiking trails and a variety of wildlife.

With the official opening on January 2, 1963 of Talisman Ski Resort, Ontario was introduced to the most elaborate ski lodge ever built in the province. Twenty-six rooms and two large dormitories made up the main chalet.
By 1964, Talisman became a year-round resort with the additions of a golf course and swimming pool. It was with these additions that the resort welcomed the world to Ontario’s premier four-season destination, and where the Resort guest began to truly cherish the charming character of the village of Kimberley and the unique landscape of the Beaver Valley.
Today, Talisman is a haven for passionate hikers, golfers, skiers and for those simply needing a place to recharge within a spectacular, un-crowded natural setting.
It offers 87 guest rooms with genuinely comfortable and relaxing accommodations, 14,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. And Talisman is expanding and enhancing its array of amenities and seasonal recreational activities with an exciting residential development project.
